Daata Restaurant

Daata is an authentic Pakistani restaurant with three beautiful locations in Ireland: Bray, Greystones and Glasthule. If you’re into Pakistani/Indian cuisine, you need to try it out. 

It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since our first visit to this restaurant. We were walking along the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones when hunger struck. A quick Google search led us to this gem – the only restaurant in the vicinity that bothered to update their Google Business Site during the pandemic (talk about luck!). Leveraging the power of Google Business Site is an easy opportunity for any food and beverage business looking to upgrade their marketing game. Not only did we fall in love with the place, the ambience, and the food, but we also made it a point to explore their other two locations. However, for today, let’s focus on reviewing their online presence.

Website

Daata Restaurant has a modern and visually stunning website that includes the most important information of each location (opening hours, address, contact info) complete with digital menus and an online booking system. The website is responsive (mobile friendly) and you can easily reserve a table at any of their three locations. Online ordering option is available as well. Check their website.

Instagram

Their Instagram page is loaded with professional, mouth-watering food photos and captures the amazing ambience. Posts are quite frequent (at least 1 post/day), menus are up-to-date and can be easily found; tagged photos are shared in stories.

They are available on every platform with great videos and photos. Their online presence is absolutely good and you can find the restaurants and menu you need.

TikTok

As per our analysis, Daata started using TikTok regularly only recently. To reach a younger audience, it is a great idea, especially taken into consideration that a restaurant can find great ways to showcase dishes, venue and ambiance.

Red Panda Suggestions

They lost access to their Facebook page, resulting in the removal of all posts and photos. They started to restart it but it still needs some improvement and now it is extremely hard to find it. Extra security such as implementing two-way verification for any social media platform is highly beneficial.

Daata won a great amount of awards, it should be showcased on every platform.

A few links should be revised on the website (Fb link is incorrect, you should add TikTok, plus Glasthule reviews are missing).

You should concentrate on generating more interactions on Instagram e.g. with more questions/quiz/asking for feedback/special discounts.

Consider starting to use YouTube / YouTube Shorts.

For the best results, more frequent videos are required on TikTok.

Overall

Daata restaurant has done an outstanding job. Their availability across multiple platforms, coupled with a mobile-friendly website, greatly contributes to building their brand. For continued success, it is imperative to maintain effective digital marketing strategies and Daata stands out as a prime example on the field.
