The Hairy Lemon has developed a sleek and user-friendly website, enriched with relevant information and complemented by two menu options. The menu is easily accessible and well-organised. The website showcases excellent reviews and highlights their social media presence, including some Instagram feeds. Under the Merch section visitors can buy promotional products (and even Whiskey) which is a great way of making guests remember to your venue.

Facebook & Instagram

Active participants on both platforms enhance their online presence through great images, daily posts, and regular reel uploads. This not only improves their commitment but also enhances their interaction with returning guests. More ever, they often request their guests to tag the location and showcase the restaurant with photos. This strategy can generate significant reach in the future.

  • Loyalty Rewards: Most probably, the majority of the guests at the restaurant are tourists who visit the place only once. A simple loyalty reward could help to re-attract guests. E.g.: Guests who return with their bill or with a dedicated loyalty card will be rewarded with a glass of Guinness.
  • Facebook events: We didn’t find any event on Facebook, what they can share for the guests. Every month, they share posts about events. However, we highly recommend creating events on Facebook, for the local guest.
  • Monthly Events: Upon reviewing the website, we did not find any information regarding events. It would greatly enhance our online presence if they could display a photo of monthly events.
  • Improving Website: Bar Menu should be directly available on the website withouth download to make guests’ life easier. Online booking system instead of email enquiries should be considered as well.

Overall

The Hairy Lemon has done a good job. They are posting everyday on Facebook and Instagram; their website is clear and mobile-friendly. However, their digital presence could be improved by creating more content and shared events on the website. A loyalty card or rewards program can greatly enhance guest satisfaction and increase the number of guests.
